Early Life and Career
Emmanuel Macron was born on December 21, 1977, in Amiens, France. He studied philosophy at the prestigious École Normale Supérieure and later worked as an investment banker at Rothschild & Co.
Political Career
Macron entered politics in 2014, when he was appointed Economy Minister under President François Hollande. He founded his own political movement, En Marche!, in 2016 and ran for president in the 2017 election.
Macron was a surprise winner in the election, becoming the youngest president in French history at the age of 39.
Presidency
As President, Macron has implemented a number of reforms, including tax cuts, labor market reforms, and environmental initiatives.
