Giovani Lo Celso reacts to dream full debut for Real Betis – “It was a very big relief”

Giovani Lo Celso's dream full debut for Real Betis ended with a 2-1 victory over Osasuna on Sunday.

The Argentine midfielder, who joined Betis on loan from Tottenham in January, made his first start for the club and played 81 minutes before being substituted.

Lo Celso was a key part of the Betis midfield, helping to create chances and break up Osasuna attacks.

The win was Betis's second in a row and moved them up to ninth in the La Liga table.

Lo Celso said after the game that he was relieved to have made his full debut and that he is enjoying his time at Betis.

"It was a very big relief to make my full debut," Lo Celso said.

"I've been working hard since I arrived here and I'm glad that the coach has given me the opportunity to start.

"I'm really enjoying my time at Betis. The fans have been great and the team is playing well.

"I'm just trying to help the team win as many games as possible."
